"Any 'trade war' is too heavy to bear," said Ding Chun, Director of Centre for European Studies in Fudan University, in the W.E. Talk with China News Network. Recently, the European Commission said it had concluded its anti-subsidy investigation and decided to impose countervailing duties ranging from 17.0% to 5.3% for five years on electric vehicles imported from China.
